Good Energy vs. Bad Energy ❤️🔥
Choose one.

Good Energy, Bad Energy 📈📉
You probably hear about “good energy,” “bad vibes” or “spidey senses” pretty often.
In fact, I know you hear about these concepts all the time.
That’s because words like “vibes” and “energy” are used every day.
It makes sense – unspoken feelings apply to nearly all interactions with living things.

It isn’t our brain that reads the temperature when walking into a bar, it’s our gut – the primordial gateway to our soul.
We are humans, and humans are deeply intuitive creatures, meant to respond and flow, alongside and within the natural world.
We feel things deep down.
When we know, we just know.

If our bodies are receptive as an orchestral harp, Mother Earth is a grand maestro plucking away at our heartstrings.
Even though we don’t always have the language to explain it, energy is loud.
We sense deep truths about others by feeling their energy.
Since our survival often depended on it, (way back in the day) we humans became psychics in our cerebral circles 🧠

We’re smart enough to read (brain) and intuitive enough to absorb (gut)
Other times, a smile, a breath, or a simple gesture can spark something good.
There’s electricity in all of us.
And whether we realize it or not, we’re constantly forging the environment around us.

The thing is, we’re not always in control of the energy we put out.
It travels through mirror neurons body language, and unspoken looks.
Sometimes, just using certain words or thinking certain thoughts can stir up a negative frequency.
The mood is squandered as a result, and we have no idea that we’re to blame.

Come on son.
Examples of bad energy ⛈️
Pacing
It seems harmless, but it radiates anxiety.
When someone paces, they’re whipping up this invisible turmoil, and it spreads. You might not even realize you’re internalizing it, but your nervous system (and everyone else’s) feels the storm.

You’ll often see pacing during a phone call. You aren’t a part of the conversation, but you now hold its bad baggage.
Frowning or scowling 👺
A frown is contagious. One, glance and the mood shifts.
The room feels heavier. The whole situation changes.
Your friend checks their watch. Others awkwardly shift in their seat.
Is the night over?

Bah, Humbug.
More examples of bad energy 🙅🏽♂️
Doomscrolling.
Brooding.
Shallow breathing.
Negatively thinking.
Biting your nails.
Gritting your teeth or clenching.
❗️None of these behaviors truly feel good.
They’re forms of anxious coping.
We behave this way when there’s a challenge at hand, or to avoid a problem.
Try these for better success ⬇️
Examples of good energy 🔋
Movement 🌊
Movement releases tension and creates momentum. It lets your energy circulate instead of stagnate, and when done around others, it invites a shared rhythm. Initiate a calm, controlled movement, and now there’s shared flow.
Smiling 🤗
A real smile opens the room. It tells people that you’re safe and approachable. They can breathe, relax and connect without you saying a word.

Clapping
Talking
Whistling
Snapping
Stretching
Dancing
Humming
Deep breathing
Bopping about
Practice these to neutralize the negative/stagnant energy you’re holding on to.
They will nourish your mind, body and spirit.
Energy isn’t karma. It doesn’t always bounce back at you immediately.
But it is environmental, and it is alive.
Energy builds up, and eventually must be dealt with by someone or something.

Your energy is like your bedroom.
So the question is: What kind of environment are you creating?
Are you the storm, or the steady wind in others’ sails?
Is your energy the flow in the river of your being, or is it a leak in the reservoir?

The Svadhishtana Chakra (gut region) is the center of energy and feeling.
Take a look at the way you move in space
The way you breathe, the way you respond to people in your life
Most importantly, when you walk into a room, notice the way you show up.
Because every space you walk into becomes an extension of your forcefield.
Energy is so powerful that it would sound mystical and woo-woo if it weren’t so obviously felt.
And even one drop of bad energy can poison something good that was flowing.
🔄 But the reverse is true too …
One smile, one slow breath, one kind glance can flip the whole room.
Now that you know the difference, you’ll start choosing with intention.
Positive choices that uplift and push experiences forward are considerate.
They demonstrate a sense of decency.
Be more decent for higher levels of good energy.
