Happy June! 🥳Red in Black Podcast 🎙️Hypnotic Redevelopment 🔮

Good Morning! 🥱

Happy June from myself and former NFL All-Pro Andrew Luck.

Today, we’ll start by praising the glory of June. Then, I have a special surprise for you all. But be patient! It’s worth the wait…

We’ll round off with an awesome technique to curb addiction, lower stress, and improve behaviors. If you haven’t guessed by now… it’s hypnosis. Keep reading to learn how to do it — magic is the best word to describe the results.

A Tribute to June 🌅

June is always a special month. School’s out, and it’s the only month housing the Spring and Summer seasons. A hybrid month. The best of both worlds! The sheer childlike joy I experience during this time of warm breeze and elevated spirits is like none other.

A few awesome people also have June birthdays — George Orwell, Paul McCartney, Tupac Shakur, Kanye West, Lauryn Hill, Prince, Marilyn Monroe, Kendrick Lamar and Henry VIII, among others.

I’m always excited about June because it feels like that moment before a roller coaster is about to drop. You know something is coming, but it’s the feeling that’s being anticipated. It’s exciting to speculate what awaits for the Summer.

When I think of June, long days and memorable nights come to mind. I think about slurping down watermelon and chasing down Icee carts across the street. I see spontaneous readers in Bryant Park and outdoor diners sitting cross-legged on Prince Street. I hear a constant chatter of travel plans ahead, a cacophony of bird songs soundtracking above.

If Spring is a time of rebirth, and Summer is an era of release, then June is a celebration of balance, harmony, and infinite possibility. Though a cool night’s breeze may roll in, reminding us of the Autumn ahead, it whispers “No worries” as it fades away in a hush.

Time seems to stand still in the arcing hours of the June Equinox, 90 days ahead yet unwritten, a chapter of a long life to be cherished and remembered for years to come.

We never know what we stand to gain from Summer; it’s always a thing of mystery. Lessons will be learned, tears will be shed, and laughs will be had. But with who? And about what? When we look into the mirror on that last day of Summer, just before Fall inextricably waves its chilling wand over the land and reclaims dominion, how will we have changed? What will be left to cherish, and what will be made to miss?

The anticipation crawls up our sleeves like an agonizing August insect. Now, as we stand at Summer’s edge, there is only one way to find out what’s on the other side of tomorrow.

Hypnotize Yo Self 😵‍💫

Don’t you sometimes wish you could just forcibly quit some behaviors like a laggy internet browser? What if I told you that you could? For the last two years, a secret superpower of mine has been clinical hypnosis.

That’s right. I have been hypnotizing my way out of bad habits for quite some time now, and it’s worked wonders. Now, I know what you might be thinking. “Hypnosis‽ Isn’t that a parlor trick with no grounding in real science?” Yes and no. Stage hypnosis, where the hypnotist seems to cast a spell on a volunteer who then performs various actions or behaviors for the audience's amusement.

What I do is quite different.

Clinical Hypnosis is the process of (a) deliberately triggering a trance state and then (b) utilizing that state to encourage helpful cognitive, emotional, or physical healing responses.

Think of it like a super concentrated form of meditation. You drop into a zone of relaxation and stillness, prepping your mind for any kind of programming. This is where the magic happens.

In this state, you’re able to reflect on your stresses and habits with clarity. Don’t like the way you’ve been eating? Now you can address that behavior more acutely. Someone bothering you on a deep emotional level? You can now reassess that relationship without fussing up. If you imagine your mind like a computer that simply takes commands, (that’s pretty much what it is) then you can see how this state effectively allows for straightforward programming.

For those trying to quit nicotine, hypnosis works much more effectively than Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT)

Hypnosis has helped me modify my eating habits, decrease my alcohol and weed consumption, and has shown me how to asses issues in real-time without being overwhelmed by them.

Since I’ve started self-hypnosis, I’ve been able to see instances in my life like frames in a movie, giving me significant control over my choices. This is how I often guarantee the outcomes I desire in my life.

Heard enough? Well, the fun is just getting started. Now, we’re going to show you how you can take your consciousness to the next level with the tool of self-hypnosis.

How to Self-Transform Using Hypnosis 🪄

1. Find Your Calm Space 😌

Start by finding a quiet, comfortable spot where you won’t be disturbed. This is your special place for relaxation. Think of it as setting the scene for a peaceful, introspective journey.

2. Set Your Intention 👉🏽

Before you begin, decide what you want to achieve with self-hypnosis. Whether it’s reducing stress, building confidence, or breaking a habit, having a clear goal in mind will guide your session.

3. Relax and Breathe 😮‍💨

Sit or lie down in a comfortable position. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. Imagine each breath in bringing calm and each breath out releasing tension. Let your body relax from head to toe.

4. Visualize a Peaceful Place 🏖️

Picture a serene place where you feel completely at ease – maybe a beach, a forest, or a cozy room. Imagine all the details: the sounds, the colors, the smells. This visualization helps deepen your relaxation.

5. Use a Focal Point or Mantra 🕉️

Choose a word or phrase that resonates with your goal, like “calm,” “confident,” or “free.” Alternatively, you can focus on your breath or a point in your visualization. Repeat your chosen word or focus on your point, allowing yourself to drift deeper into relaxation.

6. Make Positive Suggestions 🙆🏾‍♂️

While in this relaxed state, gently suggest positive changes to yourself. Use affirmations like “I am confident and capable,” or “I release stress and embrace calm.” Repeat these suggestions slowly and meaningfully.

7. Visualize Success ✅

Imagine yourself achieving your goal. See, hear, and feel what success looks like. This reinforces your positive suggestions and makes them more powerful.

8. Gradually Return 🛬

When you’re ready to finish, slowly bring yourself back to full awareness. Start by wiggling your fingers and toes, then gradually open your eyes. Take a few moments to sit quietly and reflect on your experience.

9. Practice Regularly 🔄

Like any skill, self-hypnosis improves with practice. Try to set aside a few minutes each day for your sessions. Over time, you’ll find it easier to enter a relaxed state and achieve your goals.

Tips for Success ✍🏽

Stay Patient: Don’t worry if it feels challenging at first. Self-hypnosis is a skill that develops over time.

Stay Positive: Keep your suggestions positive and in the present tense, focusing on what you want to achieve.

Be Consistent: Regular practice enhances the effectiveness of self-hypnosis.
